The Rise Awards are a celebration of the outstanding talent, skills, expertise and achievements of exceptional women across the broadcast technology and services sectors.

Two NEP employees have been shortlisted at the 2022 Rise Awards. Kathleen Gray and Markela Deverikou have been nominated for Product Engineer of the year. This award nomination is in recognition of representing the very best of our media profession.

Rise’s mission is to achieve a diverse and gender balanced workforce across broadcast media and the wider entertainment sector. There focus is to provide a platform for women to shine within industry. Rise looks to create opportunities for women in industry, through mentor programmes, networking events and workshops.

Whilst championing the women currently in industry is important. Rise’s impact goes far beyond that, with the heightened representation providing a chance to inspire the next generation of women in the industry. This is couple with the Rise Up Academy programme bringing through the next generation.

The annual Rise Awards are there to celebrate and champion women in our industry, with awards across various aspects of the broadcast industry including engineering, marketing and business operations.
